The last two weeks

I've been slow to post pictures from the last two weeks. We had our first trip to the ER the night before Halloween. He pulled a pot of gravy off the stove which resulted in second degree burns on his face and arm. After two trips to Children's burn center, we're almost as good as new. He's not going to have any scars from this, but I sure will!

Aunt Susie sent him a book with a first aid kit full of velcro bandaids in the back.
He has fun putting the bandaid on the owie.
 Playing outside with sidewalk chalk.

Reading one of his many favorite books.
 Stacking his balls.

This is the new funny face he makes about 100 times a day. I LOVE it!!
He's fresh from the bath with hair brush in hand.

Oh my goodness, poor baby! And poor mama...I can relate. When Nicco was little, he burned the inside of his little leg on the hot motorcycle pipes. It was a 3rd degree burn, luckily only in a small-ish spot, not all over his face and arms like little Marcus! His scar was there for quite a while and even after it healed, a glaring red square appeared as a reminder whenever there was a temperature change (like in the bath) or if he was either hot or cold. So awful. I'm glad Marcus will be better soon, and believe it or not, you will too.

Thanks Tamara!! He's looking much better. I have been the hovering mom lately. Hopefully for his sake I will get past that soon :)
