It's a Boy!

We found out today that our little one is a boy. It was a pretty exciting morning. And since I would have bet the ranch that it's a girl I have some work to do. Mainly just switching gears. The woman (not our Dr.) who did the sonogram said he was moving a lot! I'm guessing that is a warning of what's to come :)

Here are some sonogram pics. He is getting so big that I don't really need to explain much.

This is his little foot....

I feel a little wierd posting the picture that proves it's a boy.

The next two his head is on the left and torso on right. It's a profile view. The dr didn't confirm, but I think the placenta is that thing along the top of the frame.

Half Way There

I'm 20 weeks along, officially half way done! Within the last week I've started feeling little flutters - the baby's movement. It's pretty neat. We have an appointment on Tuesday to find out if it's a girl or boy. I can't wait to see the little one again and to stop having to call it 'it'.

We've been so fortunate to have generous friends. They have provided us with so many essentials - a crib, swing, car seat, stroller etc... So much stuff that we might almost be set! It's all piled in the nursery ready to be arranged.

I'll make sure to get the word out when we find out what we're having. So exciting!!

Going going gone!

The other night the gate to our fence went down with the wind. Well, today the rest of the fence joined in. The wind is so high today. It's actually scarry to be outside. While I was taking these pictures the dust in the air whipping around my head was in my eyes, stuck to my freshly chap sticked lips and in my teeth!
I've also had to chase down my front door mat today. I think if we get a dog we should name it Toto.

Our poor swamp cooler is naked too! The cover came off as well as two filters. Holy Crap the wind is stripping my poor home bare. I saw a roof shingle in my yard too.

We lost the side fence too. It happened later in the evening. I was really hoping it would just continue to lean and we could just repair it. But it gave in to the wind too. We share this one with our neighbor so at lease we'll only be paying for half of it!
