Spring is here....for now :)
Marcus enjoyed the swing in the back yard today. You can see he takes it pretty seriously. He's holding on to those ropes so tight!

Marcus in the snow
Snow
We got about 11 inches last night. It's wet and heavy. The tree branches are bending over to the ground. It's a normal spring storm - nothing too serious. Says the person that hasn't had to drive in it :)
I put Marcus in this bib snow suit. To go out for pics.
He was pretty interested in the snow coming down. He put his hand out to try to touch it.

This is Marcus beaming after making it all the way up the stairs by himself....while chasing the cat. I'm having trouble loading video so as soon as I can I'll get the video of that event on here. I've been working with him on the stairs for about a month. Just showing him what to do. We have so many stairs I want to be proactive on that front. The day he learned how to take the stairs (last Friday) was also the day he fell down two of them. I caught him before he tumbled, but it was still pretty traumatic for both of us. Now the gates are up when we're not in stair mode.
By the way he's 9 months old this week and that's a 12-18 month jumper. It's a little loose on him but so much easier to get on his long body. He still fits in some of his 9-12 stuff.
We went to our friends house for dinner this weekend. They have two friendly cats and Marcus was in heaven. You can see the black kitty was too - in the clear box by Matt's feet. The three of them played legos. Our friends, Kirsten and Jen sent us home with the three soft FANTASTIC blankets stacked to the right. There's even one for Tubby!! They are the best comfy blankets - and now we don't have to fight over the other one they made for Marcus :)
