Before and After

I recently bought a light fixture at Costco for a great price, but after I got it home we figured out our ceiling is so tall (15 feet) that our ladder leaning against the wall would be pretty tricky for the installation. So we had to rent scaffolding to install it. We actually joked that the scaffolding was cheaper than our copay at the emergency room and to just suck it up and do it right!



Thanks to Cory for coming over and helping - I'm useless for these sorts of projects and can only offer to feed anyone who is willing to help :)

Below is a picture of the light we replaced. I think it is original to the house that was built in 1986! It put out as much light as a candle.


It was so funny to have scaffolding in our dining room!! I had to take pictures.
This new light fixture puts out so much more light!!! Matt shields his eyes as he walks through the room...silly.
