Dying eggs

Easter

We took a picture before we left my mom's house,
while we were all still clean.

Dying eggs.

He's showing me his blue hand.
I'm busy fishing a crushed egg from the dye.

The Hunt

Dallas World Aquarium

The Dallas Aquarium was amazing! It was set up so well. Marcus had a blast. (so did I!)

This tunnel was pretty neat. All sorts of things were swimming by.
The stingray above was fun. A giant turtle kept going over head and Marcus would
swipe his arm and say 'almost'. Funny.

Austin

Austin with Todd, Jess and baby Hollis.

Marcus loves their dog, Dodger. I do too, he's a great pooch.

 Austin Botanic Gardens

 sniff sniff.....sneeze.

Time with Family

These blocks are so cool. They have magnets on either side and stick together so easily. Marcus is having so much fun playing with them. Here he's building something really tall with Grams and Aunt Susie.

Fractured elbow

We spent the evening in the emergency room last week and then the following day in surgery at Children's. Marcus fell (jumped) off a chair and fractured his elbow. He chipped the bone and had to have surgery. They put 3 pins in. We're about 10 days out from surgery and he's adapting pretty well to only using one hand. Unfortunately that little cast hurts when it gets swinging around. Matt and I have been bonked in the head a few times by it. Marcus even bonked himself a few times. We will go back to the hospital Monday to see how it's healing.

A day at the Zoo

Marcus is becoming more independent these days. He fights being in a stroller, so I leave it in the car now. He did a great job walking around the zoo. I held him here and there, but really only when it was time to go.

Before and After

We had a wonderful experience this week. We offered up our house to be used for a staging class. There were about 10 women and the teacher here on Tuesday. They did all of this in only 4 hours. We spent a week cleaning our house in preparation! It was worth it. I love the new set up and I feel so lucky to have had this opportunity. Thanks Jessica and Trish!

Marcus 'helped' while I was taking before and after pictures -  so he's my little 'where's waldo' in some of the pictures.

Basement
Before we blocked the fireplace with the tv.

The twigs on the shelf and fireplace are from the tree
 in the front yard. Clever!

I love where they put the skis. They used trimmings
from our pine tree out front.

Desk before

My desk is so clean! Unfortunately that is because they put all the
extra stuff outside in the garage.

Living room before.  Toy central!

Living room after! Wow, adults live here!

That is the dresser from our bedroom.

Our bedroom before.

Our bedroom after. The dressers are gone. One is in the living
room and the other is in the garage. So Matt's going to the
garage to get clothes...haha

Our bathroom after. I guess I forgot to get the before.
Marcus' room before. Stuffed animal anyone?

My little helper. He was hovering around
during the picture taking. He kept hanigng on my leg so I
thought I'd get a quick picture of him.

Kitchen before. (We had already cleaned off a lot of stuff)

Kitchen after. They placed the dishes so nicely! I always
struggled with how to put them up on that shelf.
