Marcus' gal, Kaitlyn

Marcus' favorite person in the whole world is our neighbor, Kaitlyn.

She and her mom, Betty are some of our favorite people here. We're pretty lucky to have such wonderful neighbors. Any time they come over Marcus is glued to his gal. He can't get enough of her.

New Apron

OK, I know this is way too many pictures in this apron - but he was being so silly for the camera I couldn't choose just one!

Our dear friends Kirsten and Jen (I've known Kirsten since culinary school) came over for dinner last month and brought this hand made apron, it's terry cloth on the reverse. I love it so much!! They also brought the entire dinner! What great friends we have. Thanks girls!

The Good Zoo

We had a nice time in Moundsville a week ago or so. We got to see some friends and visit with Nana and Papa Burk. These are pics from the Good Zoo. The bird area was pretty neat.

Curl 360

I've let Marcus' curls grow out again. I'm having fun playing with them. This is when they're pretty tame - when he wakes up from a nap they are standing on end. Easy entertainment :)

Happy Birthday Marcus and Jenny

Our dear neighbors Betty and Kaitlyn were so kind to have a joint birthday party with Marcus and their neice Jenny. Marcus was born on Jenny's 4th birthday. So, for the last 2 years he's been known as the birthday baby. We spent the evening with them just celebrating birthdays and our friendship. I'm so thankful to know them and consider them my Colorado family.

Zoe is a natural at gathering up her chickens.

She gracefully picked up this one and held it for the boys to pet. They were pretty impressed.
