New Door!

Our new door is in. It is such a treat! I realized when I was posting these pictures that I didn't have any 'before' pics. The other door was original to the house built in 1986. The seal broke between the panes and there was always moisture between them, so it was always foggy. The new door is so clear and wonderful. I love the blinds between the panes. It really cuts out the heat from the sun. Thanks Mom!!!

Seattle

On the beach. We watched the tide go out and the clam diggers working hard for dinner.

Jon and Kiersten had a big crawfish boil while we were there. It was soooooo delicious. I feel pretty lucky to say I've been to three this year.


Jeff Birks was the crawfish chef. He made some yummy bugs.

The rhododendruns were in bloom everywhere. They were so pretty.

We took the ferry to Seattle from Jon and Kiersten's house.

We spent last weekend with the Marlins (and a few hundred other people) and enjoyed their annual crawfish boil.

Happy Anniversary

The second anniversary is cotton, so Matt put cotton balls in the flowers he gave me. I went to the asian market and bought a live lobster and dungenous crab. We made a big mess cracking and dipping in butter. It was delicious.

Mom's Visit

This is the only picture I took while my mom was here! We had lunch with my friend Gretchen.
We had a great visit. She bought us a new patio door, it's on order I'll post pictures when it comes in. Thanks Mom!!
She went with me to the Boulder Farmer's Market and it snowed on us! Then later that day we went to a crawfish boil and the sun was out bright. I love this state!

Good Kitty. Hogan cought (and killed) a mouse. I really have tried hard not to make this a blog about our cats! But I think we take more pictures of them than anything else!

Matt was sick Friday. Hogan and Tubby kept him company all day.

New Fruit Bowl

I am so darn excited about this new fruit bowl. One of my clients gave it to me!! I have been admiring it since I brought it home. Matt thinks I'm a little nutty.
